Sodor Snow Storm! is the eighteenth episode of the second season.

Plot[]

Edward was just going out of his shed when he came to a halt, his water gear freezed due the cold weather, Rex the small railway engine was around, and was glad to tow Edward with a rope attached to his buffers safely back to the works' shed. I'll bring your gears, take that as christmas treat, you're lucky the engine parts' works is located on our railway so it will be easy peasy... said a friendly peeping Rex

I'm the one lemon squeeze, chuckled Edward, and Rex steamed out of the yard.

Rex was just turning around the bend when he crashed into a hidden rock in the snow bank, he derailed. now it was Rex who needed help.

Oh dear, where did Rex got to? sighed Edward

it took some time to put Rex onto the tracks, it wasn't difficult since he was a small railway engine, and they just slid Rex's steel wheels on the icy ground easily, but Rex was running a little bit late

when he came back, he was in such a rush, he speed through the ballast chute and plunged into Oliver's empty wagons, Oliver didn't know that, he went foward placing his truck under the hopper, Rex was inside it and was covered to the top with falling ballast, when Oliver arrived at the harbour, he heard a muffled voice crying for help, Cranky quickly unloaded his cars and there was Rex, dirty, cold and dented.

Rex finished his journey by the evening, he was scratched, his boiler dented and he jittered while moving along the tracks, Edward was surprised by the Rex's state.

there is your.... oof... oof gear Edward, and Rex sulked to the shed.

Rex felt silly, he spent all day delaying his jobs and getting over crashes and escapades just to deliver a single gear to Edward. he felt foolished going on a fool's errand. he expected Mike and Bert would be teasing him endless next morning when Edward pulled up.

Y'know, what you did was great you don't have to be ashamed of your efforts, it just shows how determined and strong you are, even to do the tiniest things. I once pulled a train of enthusiasts in the middle of fiery storm with my sanding gear blocked and a bent siderod, but I carried on, good job Rex, you may be small, but you have buffers of iron, you're the credit of Arlesdale

Rex felt much better
